๐Ÿฅƒ 1โ€“1.5 oz bourbon (optional)
๐Ÿ ยฝโ€“1 tbsp pure maple syrup
๐Ÿฆ 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
๐Ÿ‹ 1 tsp lemon juice
๐ŸงŠ Ice cubes or crushed ice
๐Ÿฅค Club soda

How to make it:
โœจ Muddle cherries + maple syrup together
โœจ Stir in vanilla, lemon juice, and bourbon if using
โœจ Fill glass with ice
โœจ Top with club soda

How to make them โœจ

๐Ÿ’ Fresh Cherry Bread with Homemade Buttercream Cherry Frosting ๐Ÿ’

This is your sign to bake with fresh Northwest cherries while theyโ€™re at their sweetest. This fluffy, moist cherry bread is made with Greek yogurt for the perfect tender texture, then topped with a naturally pink ...cherry buttercream frosting. No artificial food dye needed, just that gorgeous cherry color doing its thing.

Save this recipe for a sweet summer treat!

Ingredients for the cherry bread:
๐Ÿ’ Fresh Northwest cherries, pitted and halved
๐Ÿงˆ Softened butter
๐Ÿš Sugar
๐ŸŒผ Vanilla extract
๐Ÿฅš Eggs
๐Ÿฅฃ Greek yogurt
๐ŸŒพ Flour
๐Ÿฅ„ Baking powder
๐ŸคŽ Brown sugar

Ingredients for the cherry buttercream frosting:
๐Ÿ’ Fresh cherry puree, reduced until jammy
๐Ÿงˆ Butter
๐Ÿš Powdered sugar
๐ŸŒผ Vanilla extract
๐Ÿง‚ Salt

How to make it:

Rinse, pit and halve your fresh cherries.
Beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy, then mix in vanilla, eggs and Greek yogurt.
In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
Fold two-thirds of the cherries into the batter, then transfer to a lined loaf pan.
Top with the remaining cherries and a sprinkle of brown sugar.
Bake at 350ยฐF for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool completely before frosting.

For the frosting:

Puree fresh cherries, then cook the puree over medium heat until reduced to a few tablespoons with a jammy texture.
Whip butter with half of the powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and half of the cherry reduction, then mix.
Add the remaining powdered sugar, cherry reduction and salt.
Spread over the cooled cherry bread, slice and enjoy!
